1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of products and services provided by PluginNests ("we", "us", "our"), including our WordPress plugins, the PhotoPad Shopify app, and the website at pluginnests.com. By purchasing, installing, or using any of our products, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products & services

WordPress plugins

We develop and sell premium WordPress plugins including StoreNest, StoreNest PWA, Product Image Renamer, Image Whitespace Normalizer, and Media Bulk Download. Free versions may be available on WordPress.org; Pro versions are sold through our website via Paddle.

PhotoPad (Shopify app)

PhotoPad is a Shopify app that normalizes and enhances product images. Features include whitespace padding, background color customization, aspect ratio control, AI-powered background removal, whitespace trimming, and SKU-based filenames. PhotoPad is available through the Shopify App Store.

3. Licensing

WordPress plugins

  • Pro licenses are sold on a per-site or multi-site basis as described at the time of purchase.
  • Each license key may be activated on the number of sites specified by your plan.
  • Licenses include updates and support for the duration of your active subscription.
  • You may not redistribute, resell, or share your license key.
  • Free versions of our plugins are licensed under the GPL v2 or later, consistent with WordPress licensing.

PhotoPad

  • PhotoPad is licensed on a per-store basis through the Shopify App Store.
  • Usage limits (image normalizations per month, AI background removals per month) are determined by your subscription plan.
  • Additional AI background removal credits can be purchased as one-time packs. Credits never expire and are consumed after your monthly plan limit is reached.

4. Pricing & billing

WordPress plugins

  • Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which handles billing, tax, and invoicing.
  • Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes as determined by Paddle.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

PhotoPad

  • Subscriptions are billed through the Shopify Billing API. Available plans: Free ($0), Pro ($9.99/mo), and Business ($29.99/mo). Annual billing is available at a 20% discount.
  • Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel during the trial period.
  • One-time AI background removal credit packs: 50 credits ($4.99), 200 credits ($14.99), 500 credits ($29.99).
  • We reserve the right to update pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change affects their plan.

5. Refunds

Our refund policy is outlined in full on our Refund & Returns Policy page. In summary:

  • WordPress plugins: 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • PhotoPad subscriptions: 7-day free trial; Shopify billing policies apply after trial.
  • PhotoPad credit packs: refundable within 7 days if no credits have been consumed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use our products for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of Pro/premium features.
  • Circumvent usage limits, license restrictions, or security measures.
  • Use automated tools to abuse our APIs or processing infrastructure.
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense our products without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our products if these terms are violated.

7. Image processing & data

When using PhotoPad, product images are fetched from your Shopify store, processed on our servers, and uploaded back to your store. Images are processed in memory and are not stored permanently. AI background removal is performed on our own infrastructure — no images are sent to third-party AI services. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

8. Support

  • Support is provided via email at support@pluginnests.com and through our website's live chat (powered by Crisp).
  • WordPress.org support forums are monitored for free plugin versions.
  • Pro/paid customers receive priority support.
  • We aim to respond within 1 business day.

9. Intellectual property

All PluginNests products, including code, designs, trademarks, and documentation, are the intellectual property of PluginNests unless otherwise stated. Free plugin versions released under GPL are subject to GPL terms. Pro features, branding, and proprietary code remain our property.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

Our products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we strive for reliability and quality, we do not guarantee that our products will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every environment. You use our products at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PluginNests shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
